Law firm Castillo y Castillo supports Operation Smile Foundation to operate children with facial deformity
Castillo y Castillo supported the 9th International Medical Mission edition organized by Operation Smile D.R. Foundation to bring new smiles to underprivileged children with cleft lips and cleft palates.
During the operation 79 children benefited from the surgeries carried out at the Plaza de la Salud Hospital by Operation Smile volunteers, who include plastic surgeons, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, dentists, speech therapists and nurses from the United States, Peru, Panama, Sweden, Paraguay, Russia, England, Brazil, Canada and the Dominican Republic.
Castillo y Castillo donated food, drinks and blankets. The firm also joined the team of voluntaries who provided patient transport and support to the medical staff.
The firm contributed to this cause as part of its commitment to improve the quality of life of Dominican children and to facilitate access to specialized medical care to those in need.
