Castillo y Castillo contributed to the Doing Business 2014 Report: “Understanding Regulations for Small and Medium-Size Enterprises”, published by the World Bank and International Finance Corporation (IFC).
Partner Praxedes J. Castillo and senior attorney Maria Portes provided legislative information and guidelines to invest in Dominican Republic. The publication examines the regulations affecting domestic firms in 189 jurisdictions and ranks the economies on the ease of doing business.
Doing Business 2014 is the 11th in a series of annual reports benchmarking the regulations that impact private sector firms, in particular small and medium-size enterprises. In addition, the report presents quantitative indicators on 11 areas of business regulation across 189 economies.
