Castillo y Castillo recognized as leading law firm by international guides

Dominican law firm Castillo y Castillo has been named by IFLR 1000 2015, Legal 500 Latin America 2014 and Chambers Global 2015 as a leading law firm in the Dominican Republic.
Legal 500 placed Castillo y Castillo in the top tier for Real Estate and Tourism and named Práxedes J. Castillo Báez as a leading lawyer for his work in this sector. Legal 500 also ranked the firm for its work in Corporate and Finance, Dispute Resolution and Intellectual Property.
IFLR singled out Castillo y Castillo for its exemplary work in Financial and Corporate, calling the firm “A major player with a good standing and a solid reputation.”
Chambers praised Práxedes J. Castillo Báez as “A standout lawyer” for his Corporate and Commercial work and “a bright and sharp lawyer with international experience” for his work in Real Estate and Tourism.
The Dispute Resolution team was recognized as “Proactive, punctual and excellent at explaining the particularities of Dominican Republic law to foreign clients.” Tania M. Castillo’s IP team was described as “A prominent intellectual property firm with many years of experience in the field.”
