Mrs. Guzmán advises local and international companies on administrative and contentious trademark procedures, management of IP and brand portfolios, due diligence, contracts and agreements related to trademarks, contracts and copyright. Chambers ranked Mrs. Guzmán for her IP expertise, thanks to her ability to solve complex IP matters and prevent legal risks in robust trademark portfolios.
She easily connects with clients, providing top-notch service with her quick responses and thorough follow-up. She advises on distribution and commercial contracts and counsel on Law 173 compliance, as well as working with pharmaceutical, agriculture, food and beverage companies and sanitary registration.
She also serves as secretary of the Dominican Association of Intellectual Property ADOPI and is a member of the INTA data protection committee.
When she’s not working, she can be found at the gym, enjoying her family, traveling, and shopping.
